Barangays Under Cluster 3 Honored with 2025 Seal of Good Local Governance

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), under the leadership of Secretary Jonvic Remulla, conferred the Seal of Good Local Governance for Barangays (SGLGB) to outstanding barangays belonging to Cluster 3 during the 2025 Liga ng mga Barangay National Congress held on August 19 at the World Trade Center, Pasay City.

The SGLGB is a prestigious recognition given to barangays that demonstrate excellence in governance across core areas such as transparency and accountability, disaster preparedness, social protection, peace and order, and environmental management. The award affirms the commitment of local leaders to provide genuine service, innovation, and compassion in addressing the needs of their communities.

This year’s Cluster 3 awardees represent a wide geographic scope—from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao—showcasing how good governance thrives in both urban centers and far-flung municipalities.
