Liga ng mga Barangay National Executive Board Visits House of Representatives, Expresses Support for Speaker Faustino “Bojie” Dy III

The National Executive Board (NEB) of the Liga ng mga Barangay sa Pilipinas, under the leadership of President Jessica Dy, paid a visit to the House of Representatives to extend their warm congratulations and full support to newly elected House Speaker Faustino “Bojie” Dy III.
Beyond the courtesy visit, the Liga also took the opportunity to advance its legislative agenda for the empowerment of barangays nationwide, with particular focus on the proposed Magna Carta for Barangay Officials—a measure that seeks to recognize the invaluable service and sacrifices of barangay leaders in local governance.
During the visit, the NEB members also had the opportunity to meet and exchange words with several lawmakers, including Majority Leader Sandro Marcos (1st District, Ilocos Norte), Rep. Albee Benitez (3rd District, Negros Occidental), Rep. Ryan Santos Recto (6th District, Batangas), and Rep. Atty. Tony Roman (1st District, Bataan).
